In 2014 Ole Schemion had seven six-figure or better cashes on his way to finishing fifth in the 2014 BLUFF Player of the Year race. On Monday Schemion locked up his first six-figure score and has a decent shot at a seven-figure score after finishing Day 2 of the 2015 Aussie Millions $100K Challenge as the final table chip leader.

Schemion finished Day 2 with 1,888,000 chips, putting him well ahead of the rest of the field. The player who started the day as chipleader, Jason Mo, managed to continue to build his stack on Day 2 and bagged up 1,150,000 –  good enough for second.

Erik Seidel, who has now cashed in this event a record four times, finished with the third biggest stack at 1,083,000. Justin Bonomo, Dani Stern, Richard Yong and Scott Seiver fill out the fourth through seventh stacks. Alex Trevallion, who earlier this week won $511,867 when he took down the $25,000 Challenge, made it to the final table with the shortest stack but guaranteed himself another six-figure score.

Day 2 began with another seven players entering just before registration closed including Brian Rast and Fabian Quoss, the only two players to enter the event four times, and David Steicke who skipped Day 1 altogether and fired his only bullet at the start of Day 2.

Phil Ivey, Mike McDonald,, Steve O’Dwyer, Philipp Gruissem and Patrik Antonius were among the 27 players sent packing on Monday. Dan Smith, who won this event in 2012, busted on the bubble with a ninth place finish.

The top three finishers are guaranteed at least a AU$1,000,000 payday with the eventual champion pocketing AU$1,870,000.
