The “No”-verlay promotion on Ultimate Poker earned 300 players their $100 buy-in back this weekend in New Jersey.

It was an inspiring week for online poker players in the United States – Full Tilt balances started to hit player bank accounts, and Nevada joined up with Delaware to form a compact that could help form a framework for the rest of the country to join in.

Poker players seem as if they were inspired this week, too. With expectations set higher than ever in New Jersey, two major tournaments met and exceeded guarantees in a way they never had before. The Sunday major on partypoker has become the crown jewel in the weekly tournament schedule in the United States, and the guarantee was doubled this week from $50,000 to $100,000.

With the bar set even higher than usual, partypoker crushed expectations and the guarantee with a 786 player field. While there were a few deals made in other major events this week, “kobe4prez92″ won this tournament straight up for the biggest prize of the week in the US.

In other action on partypoker in New Jersey, a three-way deal in their $10,000 Guarantee on Saturday earned each of those three players over $1,500.
