This week’s Tournament Tracker features a tournament grinder making a return to the BLUFF Player of Year leaderboard along with tournament results from Ireland, Macau and across the United States.

Joe Kuether has over 40 tournament cashes since the start of 2012, finishing 26th in the BLUFF Player of the Year standings last year. Last week, Kuether defeated a field of nearly 1,300 entrants to win the Arizona State Poker Championship at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, earning the biggest cash of his career – $246,161. The result also moved Kuether into fifth in this year’s BLUFF Player of the Year standings.

In Galway, Ireland the Full Tilt Poker Galway Poker Festival wrapped up with their Main Event, featuring an overlay of 139,000€ ($185,500 US) to the 861 players. In the end, online qualifier Alan Gold earned the victory, good for over $250,000. In Macau, Tom Alner won the PokerStars Macau Poker Cup Red Dragon Main Event, collecting over $93,000. In Cyprus, the $1,000 warm-up to the World Poker Tour stop in the country was won by Adrian Hinz for over $70,000.

The Legends of Poker series at the Bicycle Casino continued last week, featuring the conclusion of their $160 Mega Millions tournament, featuring a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. An additional twist on this edition gave players the option of entering on Day 2 – in the money – for $5,000, giving them 40 big blinds. Although a Day 2 mincash was only worth $800, 51 players entered, boosting the prize pool by over $200,000. Only one (Jordan Cristos) made the final table though as Christopher Kwong defeated a field of over 6,500 entrants to win over $240,000.
