Vanessa Selbst makes her case for the BLUFF Player of the Year title as Phil Hellmuth is crowned the king of Open Face Chinese Poker in London. Their results are the highlights of this week’s Tournament Tracker.

The European Poker Tour returned to London last week, as action kicked off with the regional UKIPT series. The UKIPT Main Event featured plenty of local legends, but it was the youngest Robert Bull taking the title, earning over $183,000 as he defeated 2013 Irish Open winner Ian Simpson heads-up.

The event after the UKIPT Main Event was the UKIPT High Roller, a $3,200 event that drew 177 entries. The final table featured BLUFF Player of the Year contender Joe Kuether, EPT Barcelona Super High Roller winner Thomas Muehloecker and Salvatore Bonavena among the notables. Selbst started the final table with the chip lead, and she maintained control the entire final table, defeating Max Silver heads-up, earning over $108,000. The 169 BLUFF POY points that Selbst earned for the win will almost certainly move her into second place in the next POY update, which happens Wednesday..

Phil Hellmuth has rarely played on the European Poker Tour, instead focusing on the World Series of Poker Europe events whenever he makes a visit. Hellmuth decided to play the $3,200 Open Face Chinese event, collecting over $25,000 defeating a field of 20 rivals. His win was his first EPT cash within Europe.

Elsewhere, Chino Rheem won the Merit Masters in Cyprus for over $43,000. The WPT National Marrakech title was won by Ricardo Manquant, picking up a cool $169,336 for his efforts. Thomas Mohler earned almost $80,000 after taking down the Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza 3.5 Main Event. The Full Tilt Poker Montreal Poker Festival drew over 1,600 entries for their Main Event, as Henri Balcazar went from short-stack to champion earning over $188,000.

Next week’s report expects more results from EPT London, the Choctaw Fall Poker Classic, Parx’s Big Stax IV and the PPC Championship in Aruba.
