Ultimate Poker has signed Danielle “dmoongirl” Andersen as their newest member to Team U. Andersen rose to fame in the poker world in 2013 as one of the major subjects of the film Bet Raise Fold.

“I’m very excited to begin a new chapter in my poker career as I sign on as the newest member of Team U,” said Andersen. “I’m looking forward to my return to the online poker tables and the first legal online poker site in the United States seems like the perfect place to do it.”

Andersen will join Antonio Esfandiari, Jason Somerville, Jeremy Ausmus and BLUFF contributor Dan O’Brien as part of Team U. In the upcoming episode of the Rundown Andersen reveals her plans to move to Las Vegas full time during the summer of 2014.

“We’re excited to add Danielle to Team U,” said Joe Versaci, Ultimate Poker Chief Marketing & Operations Officer. “We love the energy that she brings to the online arena with her competitive attitude.”

Though she is primarily a cash game player, Andersen made three separate trips to Las Vegas during the 2013 World Series of Poker – where she earned her first WSOP cash of her career.

After the 2013 WSOP Andersen signed a short-term deal to represent Full Tilt Poker. She represented the site for the Full Tilt Montreal Festival and the UKIPT Full Tilt Poker Festival in Galway, Ireland.

Andersen took to her personal blog to talk about her long, strange journey. “I couldn’t be more excited to start the newest leg of my poker journey,” she wrote. “There have obviously been some ups and downs in my poker career, but they’ve all led to this, one of the proudest moments in my life. In a literal sense, I’m living the dream.”
