World Poker Tour Announces First Half of Season XIV Schedule

WPT Season 14 logoThe World Poker Tour announced on Friday the first half of the Season XIV schedule with familiar stops like the Borgata, the Bellagio and the Bike, and they mixed in a few new stops for the tour.

“During Season XIII, we celebrated the historic achievement of players like Darren Elias and Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno; crowned WPT Champions Club members in seven different countries; debuted the extremely successful partypoker presents: WPT500 series in both Las Vegas and the United Kingdom; and embarked on a new journey with the WPTDeepStacks Poker Tour,” said WPT President Adam Pliska. “With 40 events already scheduled in 19 different countries on four different continents, we look forward to continued growth and success in Season XIV, and we can’t wait to again host our loyal players and fans at their favorite venues around the world.”

The WPT already held a couple of events for Season XIV – most notably the partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship, won by Sheraz Nasir, and WPT Amsterdam – the first event in the Netherlands by the WPT.

The WPT travels to the Choctaw, Oklahoma for the first time – a region that consistently supports large fields. Also, the WPT travels a little further south on the East Coast than they’re used to with an event at Maryland Live!.
